This is a picture of a battery test we did.
The customer had battery issues in the morning and sometimes needed a jump start.
The customer had tested it and said it was fine since the voltage is above 12V
What they didn’t know to check for was the CCA (cold cranking amps) which also contributes to starting the vehicle.
In this case the battery CCA was at 334 out of 800. In the morning it was even lower so the battery was due for replacement.
